Call for applications: Legal Researcher
We are currently looking for a research associate with legal knowledge to work on a DG Justice project of the European Commission. The project deals with the implementation of European directives into national law in the area of strengthening the procedural rights of accused persons in criminal proceedings (24-month term). Responsbilities will include the analysis of Austrian legislation, legal comparisons of selected member states and the coordination of the project.
The employment would initially amount to 20 hours per week and be paid according to qualification: prae-doc (about 18,966.19 € gross p.a.) or post-doc (about 27,752.69 € gross p.a.). Expected start of work in September / October 2018. Depending on interest and competencies, a higher employment level and a longer-term cooperation is possible.
