Productive and Inspiring VIPROM Consortium Meeting in Athens

The VIPROM consortium gathered in Athens for a highly productive and inspiring meeting.
The programme combined reflection, exchange, and collaboration — from a female self-defence workshop, Clothesline exhibition to insightful discussions during the International VIPROM panel. A highlight was the plenary lecture of VIPROM´s coordinator Bettina Pfleiderer, “Seeing beyond the surface: How can reflection on stereotypes and biases reshape our response to domestic violence?”, which encouraged new perspectives on addressing gender-based violence.

The final consortium meeting, hosted by Hellenic Forensic Psychiatric Association, concluded with constructive discussions and joint planning for the project’s next steps. A cultural event and farewell lunch offered an excellent opportunity to strengthen our partnership in an informal setting.
