IDSF 2025 Summary Report released

We are happy to share that the IDSF 2025 Summary Report has just been published by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology!

Under the topic “Balancing Sovereignty and Solidarity in the Digital Age”, the International Digital Security Forum brought together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to explore how digital technologies shape peace, security, and democracy.

A special highlight for us at VICESSE was the Social Science Track, which we had the privilege to design and lead.

Our track focused on critical questions at the intersection of technology, power, and society — from the realities of digital sovereignty and governance to the role of data transparency, disinformation, and democratic resilience. The discussions made one thing very clear: digital security is not only a technical challenge, but fundamentally a societal one.
